Abstract

Waqf is one of the instruments of Islamic law to deal with the problem of the Ummah, one of which is an environmental problem related to sustainable development and intergenerational justice. This research was conducted qualitatively with a descriptive analytic design. The results of the study show that environmental endowments are able to balance development and environmental sustainability that lead to sustainable environmental preservation and intergenerational equality, where future generations are still at the same utilization level as current generations, in terms of variations in choice, quality, and access to natural resources .
