Abstract

Commitment to empower people with mental disorders (ODGJ) is strengthened by the issuance of Law Number 18 of 2014 on Mental Health, aimed at ensuring everyone can achieve a good quality of life, as well as providing health services in an integrated, comprehensive, and sustainable manner through promotive efforts, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative. The purpose of this study is the relationship between achieving minimum mental health service standards with the number of patients who recur in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. The type of quantitative research is correlative descriptive design while the research design uses cross sectional design. The sampling technique that will be used is purposive sampling, with a total sample of 54 respondents. The techniques of data collection are using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study found that respondents' opinions about minimum service standards namely 11 respondents stated the Minimum Service Standards in the Sleman Health Service Center categorized as not good while 43 respondents stated the Minimum Service Standards at the Service Center Sleman's health is categorized as good. The number of ODGJ patients who get services at the Sleman Health Service Center in 2017 is an average of 250 patients per month, in 2018 an average of 90 patients per month and in 2019 an average of 162 patients per month. Achievement of service standards provided to ODGJ patients in the Sleman Health Service Center in 2017 the criteria have not been reached, in 2018 has been achieved, and in 2019 has been achieved. There is no relationship of minimum mental health service standards for ODGJ patients with those who experience recurrence or no recurrence at the Sleman Health Service Center. This is evidenced by the results of the Spearman test which obtained a significance value of 0.475> 0.05.
