Abstract

This study aims to determine the capital structure (DER), company size (Total Assets), and profitability (ROE) both partially and simultaneously affect the value of the company in coal mining companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2015-2018. This study is a quantitative research, the data that used are secondary data. The analysis prerequisite testing uses normality test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test and heteroscedasticity test, while the data analysis technique is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research and the data analysis prove that the capital structure has a partially significant effects on the firm value, as evidenced by the significance level of 0,000 less than 0.05, this shows that the capital structure has a positive influence on the firm value. The size of the company has no significant effect partially on the value of the company, as evidenced by the significance level of 0.564 more than 0.05 but has a positive correlation coefficient. Profitability is partially significant effect on firm value, as evidenced by the significance level of 0,000 less than 0.05, this shows that profitability has a positive influence on the firm value. Capital structure, company size and profitability have a significant simultaneous effect on firm value, indicated by a significance level of 0.000 less than 0.05.
