Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of stability of sales and firm size to capital structure on consumer goods companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study is consumer goods companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2016-2018 period totaling 54 companies. The data used in this study are secondary data and sample selection using purposive sampling method based on certain criteria, and obtain sample of 39 companies. This research used multiple linear regression. The result of the study indicate that stability of sales has a negative significant effect on capital structure and firm size has a positive significant effect on capital structure.
