Abstract

The instrument is a measuring instrument used to measure a measuring object or collect data from a variable. Foot and Ankle Outcomes Quesinnaire (FAOQ) is an instrument for evaluating foot and ankle disability in five subscales namely pain, symptoms, daily living activities, sports and leisure capacity, and quality of life related to feet and ankles. This study aims to determine the validity value of Foot and Ankle Outcomes Quesionairre as a measure of flat foot. This research is a descriptive research and data collection technique using a measurement method which is carried out by using the validity test of construct validity in 2020. The population in this study is boarding children of Al Abidin Islamic Middle School in Banyuanyar, Surakarta. Samples used in the study were 19 flat foot children aged 12 years based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria that had been set. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling and screening footprint analysis using Clark’s Angle. Each research subject received written approval. The instruments used were Foot And Ankle Outcomes Quesionairre and Clark's Angle footprint analysis to measure the degree of flat foot. The validity of the Indonesian version of FAOQ is measured using the Pearson Product Moment test. The results of the FAOQ construct validity of the Indonesian version of all the question items totaling 25 questions, found 16 invalid question items and 9 valid question items. In the construct validity test regarding the correlation between r tables and r calculate the value of each question item where the r table of the questionnaire is 0.482 with an error margin of 0.05 in 19 samples. Said to be valid if r table> r count. So it can be concluded that the Indonesian version of Foot and Ankle Outcomes Quesinnaire is an invalid questionnaire for 12-year-old flat foot children
