Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of compensation applied to employee morale. To find out the impact of existing communication can provide employee morale. To find out the impact of the work environment can provide employee morale. This type of research is a qualitative research with a literature study method. While data collection techniques through the collection of scientific journals in which there are variables studied and data analysis are used in several steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study note that the impact of compensation on employee morale is a very influential factor. Providing skills-based compensation will motivate employees, because the rewards obtained by an employee will be motivated if the employee feels confident that the business will produce good performance scores. The impact of existing communication can affect employee morale because it is an important factor to support work results. Existing communication can be in the form of vertical communication between superiors and subordinates and horizontal communication that is between employees and employees are well established. Information from subordinates to superiors and vice versa leaders also provide information and instructions to employees so that in work there is no miscommunication, thus there is strong communication in fostering employee morale. Impact The physical environment (spatial, layout, lighting and noise level), infrastructure, effectiveness in the use of facilities / infrastructure, leadership support and cooperation greatly affect employee morale. So it can be said that changes in the work environment affect the increase or decrease in employee performance.
