Abstract
This study aims: (1) to explain the structure that builds the novels of Heaven's Angels by Tere Liye, (2) to explain the value of character education in the novels of Angels by Heaven's Tere Liye, (3) to explain the implementation of building structures and the educational value of the character of the Angels novel -bidadari Tere Liye's Heaven as teaching material in junior high school class VIII. This research uses descriptive quantitative research. The data are novel literary works entitled Tels Liye's Heavenly Angels. The primary data source is the novel Angels of Heaven by Tere Liye and secondary data from the internet. The data validity technique uses data triangulation and theory triangulation. Collection techniques are library techniques, refer to techniques, and note techniques. Data analysis using dialectic method. Based on the analysis of this study produced (1) the structure of the building of the novel Angels of Heaven by Tere Liye namely the theme of family love. The plot in the novel Angels of Heaven is a mixed plot. The 2 setting is the Lahambay Valley, Mt. Semeru, the alpine mountains, Rome Termini. The time frame is from 1983 to 2008. (2) the value of character education contained in Tere Liye's Heavenly Angels is religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, love of the motherland , appreciate achievement, be friendly / communicative, love peace, love to read, care about the environment, care about social, responsibility. (3) The results of the research on the structure and value of character education are implemented as literary teaching materials for class VIII KD 3.17 exploring and finding information from fiction and nonfiction books that are read
