Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provide a description of the full day school in accounting IX class and provide an explanation of how to improve thecompetence of class IX accounting. This type of research is qualitative research using etnographic design. As for the data collection techniques used by the writer throught observation, interview, and documentation. Data validity is done by source triangulation and technique triangulation. Data analysis process uses data collecting, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The result showed that, (1) full day school requires students to be in school longer, (2) daily activities while at school is a positive activity, (3) the teacher can using a methods that can make the students have motivation studied at school, (4) facilities and infrastructure need to be added and improved. (5) improve accounting student competencies with improve the understanding of learning, extracurriculer activities, and practice on the job training (OJT), (6) advantages of a full day school policy are expected to be completed material, weaknesses of policies i make students exhausted and lack of enthusiasm for learning in school.
