Abstract

Optimization of Competency in Writing Argumentation Based on Problem Based Learning. This study aimedto determine the aplication of the method of problem based learning in improving the abiliti to write argumentation clas X IPA 4 students of SMA N 2 Sukoharjo. The subject in this study were study were students of class X IPA 4 SMA N 2 Sukoharjo totaling 35 people and the objects in this study were writing competence, studen learning activities and student responses. The dat were colleted by observation, testing and questions. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study are know the steps used to apply the problem based leaning model in improving the competence of writing paragraphs of student argumentation.
