Abstract

Regional governments as public sector organizations must of course carry out their duties as mandated in the applicable constitutional rules and hold the principle of real and responsible autonomy. The demand for information disclosure and regulations that have governed how the management of regional autonomy emphasizes the need for good and correct financial management, to see how well and correctly a financial management needs to be measured Financial Performance. The purpose of this study was to analyze the financial performance of local governments in the Greater Jakarta area in 2016-2018. Data used from the revenue and realization of regional revenue and expenditure budget. This research was conducted based on the descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The results showed based on the independence ratio of the Greater Jakarta area getting an average level of independence that is very effective. Effectiveness Ratio Local government in the Greater Jakarta area can be said to have a very good level of effectiveness. The Efficiency Ratio The government in the Greater Jakarta area has a level of efficiency that is not good. The ratio of expenditure harmony The government in Jabodetabek region has a good level of expenditure harmony due to direct spending which is greater than indirect expenditure. The growth ratio of the government in the Greater Jakarta area when viewed from the growth ratio for 3 years (2016-2018) has increased at intervals of 5% - 17%. The government in the Jabodetabek area is expected to continue to explore the existing potential so that in the future it can increase local revenue so that it can get more effective and efficient performance as a real effort to improve the welfare of the community.
