Abstract

This study aims to determine the risk level of a job where UD. Cipta Mandiri in making barecore which has 10 work stations operating in one work shift for 7 hours. Most of them still use the labor and skills of workers in producing barecores. This results in workers experiencing MSDs due to long working hours and a large portion of work so there needs to be an update because human errors can occur. The study was conducted by calculating the score on the KIM to analyze hazardous work stations with a range of <20 -> 100 points then proceed with the score calculation on the EAWS to help find a solution with proposed improvements with a range of 0 -> 50 points. With primary and secondary data that supports research and in giving a proposal. The results of the study were three stations with the highest level of risk using the KIM, namely the wood cutting station, the wood shaving station and the Rn Ging station. Then the proposed improvement in the form of design tools in the form of work desks at the three stations where there is a change in size and design through the calculation of the EAWS method so that the risk level decreases.
