Abstract

Meggy Novitasari. NIM Q200170014. Basic Education Master’s Study Program. Graduate School Faculty, Muhammadiyah Univercity of Surakarta, 2019. The purpose of this study is to describe the culture of integrating the characters of 21st in mathematics learning at SD N Kleco 1. Types of qualitative research with case study research designs. Conducting research at SD N Kleco 1. Data collection techniques using interview, observation and documentation with student informants, teachers and school principals. Data integrity uses triangulation method. The results of the study include the first, habit of reading literated every morning aimed at providing understanding concepts, solving problems and drawing conclusions. Second, the application of digital literacy culture to provide ease of communication in the school environment by applying the 3S law (Smile, Greetings and Sapa). Third, culture of media literacy culture through the creation of teaching aids, the use of software in learning. Fourth, emphasizing the culture of learning to collaborate between students in one class and between classes. Students who have the character of confidence, cooperation, curiosity and hard work
