Abstract

ABSTRACT The ability of teachers and stakeholders in carrying out management determines the success of the implementation of learning management, especially management of learning Arabic. This research examines how the management of Arabic learning in Al Irsyad Surakarta Middle School and what are the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of the management of Arabic learning in Al Irsyad Surakarta Middle School. This study aims to describe the management of Arabic learning that is carried out in Al Irsyad Surakarta Middle School and to identify the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of Arabic learning management in Al Irsyad Surakarta Middle School. This type of research conducted in this study is field research. The research approach was carried out using a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques performed by interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis is performed by reducing the data that has been obtained, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity test is performed using data triangulation. The results of research conducted on the management of Arabic learning at Al Irsyad Surakarta Middle School, it was found that the management of Arabic learning at Al Irsyad Surakarta Middle School had carried out the management function. The management functions include: the planning function, the organizing function, the mobilization function, and the supervisory function. In the implementation of Arabic learning management in Al Irsyad Middle School there are supporting factors and inhibiting factors. The supporting factors include: support from the school, teacher background, and school infrastructure. The inhibiting factors include: lack of complete learning administration, changing curriculum, lack of student motivation. Inhibiting factors become increased when faced with the Covid-19 pandemic as the current situation. Additional inhibiting factors include: spending more extravagant for the purchase of quotas, mobile phones that still belong to parents, and less responsive to tasks. Nevertheless, the management of Arabic learning at Al Irsyad Surakarta Junior High School is still able to be implemented quite well. Keywords: Learning Management, Arabic
