Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the factors that influence private investment in Indonesia. This study uses multiple linear analysis tools with ordinary least square (OLS) method. The results showed that the BI RATE , minimum wage, and government spending significantly influence private investment in Indonesia, while the inflation and exchange rate variables do not have a significant effect on private investment in Indonesia. The coefficient of determination of 0.783 which means 78.3% of the variation of the variable private investment in Indonesia can be explained by the BI RATE , inflation, exchange rates, minimum wages, and government spending, the remaining 21.7% is explained by other independent variables not included in the model.
