Abstract

This research implements muhawaroh method in Indonesian VIII grade learning at Pangkan Bun Muhammadiyah Middle School. Muhawarah method was adopted from Arabic basaha. Muhawaroh is a conversation activity that aims to facilitate speaking Arabic. Muhawaroh method is usually used or applied in Islamic boarding schools. The purpose of this study is to describe the learning of Indonesian language class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Pangkalan Bun. To describe the implementation of muhawaroh method in Indonesian language learning in class VIII of Muhammadiyah Pangkalan Bun Junior High School. Data collection in this research is by observation and documentation. The validity of this study uses Trianggulası. The data analysis technique used in this study was a qualitative descriptive technique. The application of Muhawarohah method in Indonesian language learning in class VIII of Muhammadiyah Pangkalan Bun Junior High School was carried out in stages in accordance with the application of Muhawarohah method. In other words the implementation of the muhawaroh method does not come out of the main flow of the theoretical application stage.
