Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the contents of verses that use the word instructions in the text of the translation of the Koran, analyze the syntactic role of the lingual unit that uses the words of instruction in the text of the translation of the Koran, and analyze the syntactic role of the lingual unit implimentation as teaching material. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques used refer to the method of note, note, and document. The validity of the data used is theory triangulation. The results showed that: First, 9 syntactic roles for lingual units were found in this study. The syntactic roles include the role of outcome (46 data), patient role (37 data), identifier role (24 data), objective role (10 data), experience role (7 data), known-identifier (4 data), the role of the tool (2 data), the role of reach (2 data), the known role (1 data), and the role of the participant (1 data). Second, the contents of the lingual unit verses that use the word instructions in this study, there are 18 references to the contents of the verse that use the word instructions. Among these are in the form of guidance, in the form of guidance on the way of truth, in the form of the Koran, in the form of guidelines, in the form of faith, in the form of directions / directions, in the form of information, in the form of guides, in the form of the Law, in the form of straight paths, in the form of light rays, in the form of evidences of truth, in the form of the Koran and His apostles, in the form of revelations, in the form of miracles, in the form of schools of thought, in the form of taufik, and in the form of mercy. Third, this research can be implemented as teaching material is syntactic material related to clause analysis based on the role of its elements.
