Abstract

Indonesia’s slow economic growth can cause the economy to become less stable and it can also cause unemployment. The low addition of products produced can result in limited employment. If the product produced is high, it is expected to increase the amount of GDRP. The role of PMA, PMDN, labor absorption and mean years of schooling are drivers of GDRP in Indonesia. The purpose of this research was to estimate the effect of PMA, PMDN, employment, and mean years of schooling on the GRDP in Indonesia. In this study using secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Data was processed using panel data analysis with fixed effect regression models. The results showed that PMA, PMDN, labor absorption, and mean years of school had a stimulant effect on the GRDP in Indonesia. Meanwhile partially, domestic investment variables, employment, and the mean years of schooling positive affected GRDP in Indonesia. However, the PMA was poven to not affect GRDP in Indonesia. For this reason, it is necessary for the government to play a role in directing foreign capital in right sector to increase GRDP.
