Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know with the implementation of the learning discussion whether it can improve student learning outcomes in entrepreneurship subjects in the class of accounting in SMK Batik 2 Surakarta. This research is conducted using a class action research method (PTK) conducted as much as II cycle whereby each cycle is conducted 2 times in which each cycle there are four stages of research, namely: (1) planning Research Action; (2) Implementation research action; (3) Observation of research action; (4) Reflektion. In this study the subject of this study was all students of grade XI accounting SMK Batik 2 Surakarta which amounted to 26 students consisting of 20 female students and 6 male students. This study was implemented by collaborating together with the teachers of entrepreneurship class XI accounting classes. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation and tests. The results of this study were that the application of learning with the discussion method showed that there is an increase in the learning outcomes of entrepreneurial subjects can be seen from students who get more than the minimum compensation criteria (KKM). As evidenced before the action, the student learning percentage results only (34.62%), after the act of cycle I of the 1st meeting increased to (50.0%), the action cycle I of the 2nd meeting increased to (57.69%), and after implemented II Cycle Action of the 1st meeting increased to (76.92%), action cycle II of the 2nd meeting increased to (92.31%). Based on this study, it was concluded that the method of learning discussion on entrepreneurship subjects could improve the learning outcomes of students in the accounting class of SMK Batik 2 Surakarta.
