Abstract

The flow of land disturbance often occurs when the distribution of electrical energy to consumers. In the process of channeling electrical energy is equipped with a good grinding system. The ground fault current consists of one phase fault current to the ground and two phase fault current to the ground. This research was conducted to determine the effect of the grounding system on the flow of soil interactions. The study began with a literature study, collecting data, modeling a 20 kV voltage network in the SOBA 07 feeder to be connected in ETAP 12.6, input data, analysis of ground current output and the use of a type of rationing, the results of the analysis conducted. The simulation results show the ground fault current in the grounding system (solid, resistor, reactor). The biggest current of land disturbance occurs in solid grounding. If the impedance of pengetahannya is greater then the current of land changes is smaller. The results obtained from the test results with ETAP 12.6 on single phase disturbance to the ground obtained a disturbance current of 1.14 kA, and on the two phase disturbance to the ground obtained at 1.44 kA. Manual calculations produce a fault current of 1.14 kA, and a two phase disturbance to the ground of 1.41 kA. The difference in the results of ETAP 12.6 simulation with manual calculations on a single phase fault current to the ground is 0 kA, and on the two phase fault current to the ground it is 0.03 kA. For the setting time of the incoming GFR obtained by 0.36 seconds, the time of setting the incoming GFR is obtained by 0.29 seconds.
