Abstract

This study aims to determine an increase in post partum maternal breast milk production at PKU Muhammadiyah Karanganyar Hospital after being given a trancutaneus electrical nerve stimulation and oxytocin massage. This type of research is quasi experiment with pre-post design with control group. Data collection techniques used a sampling method in which as many as 30 people were randomly drawn and then divided into 2 groups, 15 people entered the control group and 15 people entered the treatment group, with interventions in the form of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation and oxytocin massage in the treatment group and breast care in control group. The results of the study found that the administration of trancutaneus electrical nerve stimulation and oxytocyin massage was more effective than breast care to increase breast milk production in post partum mothers 0,000 (P (0.005)
