Abstract

Student Organization is an inseparable part of tertiary institutions to hone non-academic abilities and as a forum for the development of students' potential and talent interests. Information about student organizations at UMS is currently limited to each organization and has not been thoroughly integrated. The design of information systems can meet the information needs of student organizations at large. The research carried out aimed at designing a student organization information system based on a website and publicizing the design of the information system. The design of this information system begins with the identification of all the needs of the system such as context diagrams, relationship diagrams between entities and data flow diagrams. Then the process of designing a website-based information system using PHP as a programming language and MySQL as a database design. The results of the design show that this information system can display information about student organizations that are widely integrated and comprehensive as well as improve efficiency in organizing activities and storing activity records in a database.
