Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the use of conjunctions in the novel Love & Laughter Monday Man. Damn Mondays by Kristin Gabriel, This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data in this study include the use of conjunctions in the novel Love & Laughter Monday Man Kristin Gabriel's Shit Monday Days. This data is taken from the data source of the novel Love & Laughter Monday Man, Damn Mondays by Kristin Gabriel. Data collection techniques with refer and note technique. Analysis of data collection using critical and comparative analysis techniques. The results of this study are: (1) the use of subordinative conjunctions there are 9 words namely, that, because, with, while, so, immediately, after, if, before. (2) the use of coordinating conjunctions, there are 3 words namely, and, or, even though. (3) the use of interalimatic conjunctions there are 5 words namely, thus, after, actually, even, vice versa. (4) the use of conjunctions between paragraphs there are 3 words namely, so, besides, whatever.
