Abstract
ABSTRACT Trade balance is the part of the balance of payments a country's and receipts payment to other countries.Trade Balance records all exports and imports of goods transactions, exports are recorded as credit or positive transactions and imports are recorded as debit or negative transactions. Net exports are positive (surplus) if the export value is greater than imports and negative (devisit) if the import value is greater than the export value. The research appears as the deficit of the trade balance in 2012. The international trade balance deficit is the first since 1961. This research using partial adgustment model (PAM) technique analysis, the result shows that exchange rate and import tariff variables are significant effect on the trade balance, while the inflation and economic growth variables aren’t significant effect on Indonesia's international trade balance in 1993 - 2018.
