Abstract

SUKMAWAN WAHYU SADEWA/ A510130260. PEDAGOGIC COMPETENCE OF CLASS II TEACHER IN LEARNING AT SD NEGERI 1 TEMUIRENG. Thesis. Faculty of teacher training and educational sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta, 2020. This study aims to determine 1) comprehension competencies, 2) learning design competencies, 3) learning implementation competencies, 4) learning outcomes evaluation competencies, and 5) student development competencies. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using interactive model analysis. The data was validated pass uses methode triangulation. All datas confirmed from interviewed methode with observation and documentations. The results showed that: 1) Competence of teacher understanding of students is done through the identification of student characteristics by means of teacher and student interaction, 2) Teacher learning design competencies are carried out by designing syllabi, lesson plans and preparing media and learning resources. 3) Teacher learning implementation competencies consist of initial activities, core and closing activities carried out based on the lesson plan. 4) Competence of evaluating teacher learning outcomes using authentic assessments consisting of assessments of knowledge, attitudes and skills. 5) Competency development of students to actualize the various potentials of students by the teacher by the way the teacher trains students to think for themselves, explore information and find their own solutions about the problems of a material, provide feedback, communicate, and involve students in various school activities. In addition, the teacher becomes a facilitator and motivator of learning by the way the teacher motivates students to interact actively.
