Abstract
Knowladge lactation management is needed as a management to manage the entire breastfeeding process so that it successfully from breast milk produced until the baby's sucking and swallowing process starts during pregnancy, perinatal and baby's breastfeeding period and affecting factors is age, education, and job on the knowladge lactation management. The purpose to analyze the factors (age, education, and job) associated with knowladge lactation management mother’s who have children age 0-23 months in the region Banyudono 1 primari health care. This type of research is analytic with cross sectional approach. The population all mothers who had the age of 0-23 months in the working area of the Banyudono 1 primary health care. Total samples 207 mothers who selected using proportional sampling. Data was collected using a questionnaires. The results of data analysis based on Chi Square test shows relation between education (OR= 0,443; CL 95%=1,734-7,158; p= <0,0001; Phi= 0,250), is’t relation between a job OR= 0,973; CL 95%= 0,550-1,721; P= 0,925), and The results of data analysis based on Fisher Exact test shows age that there is’t relation between age (OR= 0,802; CL 95%= 0,248-2,937; p= 0,820) with knowladge lactation management. Conclusion of education is a factor with knowladge lactation management, age, and job isn’t factors for with knowladge lactation management.
