Abstract

This study aims to analyze the condition of income distribution and whether there are differences in income between Pandeyan village and Parangjoro village, Grogol sub-district, Sukoharjo district. This study uses primary data obtained through interview respondents who have been determined. This study uses the Lorenz curve, gini ratio and the two mean difference test. Based on the results of the Lorenz curve analysis shows that the distance between the diagonal with the Lorenz curve is relatively close. Thus it can be said that inequality in income distribution is relatively low. If using the Gini ratio, the results of the analysis are Pandeyan village of 0.23 and Parangjoro village of 0.26, so that it can be interpreted that income distribution inequality is relatively low. based on the two mean difference test, there is no significant income difference between Pandeyan and Parangjoro villages.
