Abstract

The increasingly dense population and the higher growth rate must be balanced with the provision of socio-economic facilities to support the activities of the people in it. The availability of these facilities is one of the special concerns in Karanganyar Regency so that its placement can be evenly distributed in each region. Thus the development of facilities must be monitored, so that equitabel development is achieved. This study aims to: (1) Analyze the distribution patterns of socioeconomic facilities in Karanganyar Regency in 2004 - 2018. (2) Analyze the growth of socioeconomic facilities in Karanganyar Regency in 2004 - 2018. (3) Analyze factors associated with facility growth socioeconomic years 2004 - 2018. This type of research is secondary data analysis research, meaning that researchers only process and analyze data obtained from related institutions. The analytical method uses qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. Socioeconomic facilities in 2004 have a variety of distribution patterns, clustering patterns (Clustered), namely Elementary Schools, Junior High Schools, High Schools or Vocational Schools, Mosques, Churches, Temples, Hospitals and Plaza. Random patterns are not evenly distributed (random), namely Puskesmas Pembantu and Supermarkets. The pattern is evenly distributed (Dispersed), namely the Puskesmas and the Market, whereas for the Vihara there is only one facility. Socio-economic facilities in 2019 have a clustered distribution pattern, namely elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools or vocational schools, mosques, churches, temples, supermarkets, and plazas. Random patterns are not evenly distributed (random), namely Puskesmas and Puskesmas Pembantu. The pattern is evenly distributed (Dispersed), namely the Market and Hospital, while the Vihara is only one facility. The overall development of socioeconomic facilities in Karanganyar Regency during the last fifteen years from 2004 to 2008 experienced a growth of 14.02% or as many as 408 facilities. Service centers are influenced by the level of completeness and the number of socioeconomic facilities in an area, as well as the growth of the facility itself in association with government-built facilities, community-built facilities and facilities that follow the road network.
