Abstract

Arthritis Rheumathoid a chronic inflammatory autoimmune in which a person's immune compromised and down which can cause destruction of the joints and organs in the synovial lining, especially on the hands, feet and knees. Attitude and effort of the family in caring for family members with Rheumatoid Arthtritis is important because the family has a role in determining the care to be given to a sick family member. There are 4 levels of attitude among which, acceptance, respond to, respect and responsible, and there are 5 duty family health among which, knowing a family medical issue, take the right decisions, able to care for sick relatives, capable of modifying the environment and were able to take advantage of the health facility. The purpose of this study is, to determine the attitude and efforts of the family in caring for family members who suffer from rheumatoid arthritis. The sampling technique in this research is total sampling sample in this study amounted to 91 people. Value 93.4% acceptance family, the family responds attitude 97.7%, 96.7% respect for the family, and responsible attitude in the family knows the value of 76.9% and 89.0% of family problems, make the right decision 100 %, taking care of families, 93.4%, 62.6% and environmental modification utilizing 97.8% of health facilities. The conclusion of the attitude and efforts of the family in caring for family members with rheumatoid arthritis has been done by the family well.
