Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education based on controversial Issues on Team Quiz's YouTube collaboration media to increase critical power. The research method uses pre-experimental designs which is a type of quantitative research. Data collection in this study used observations and questionnaires (questionnaire) for 20 students of class VIII B, PGRI 6 Kedawung Sragen Middle School Academic Year 2019/2020. The validity test of this research instrument uses the Correlation Product Moment formula from Pearson, while the instrument reliability test uses the Kalmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro Wilk formulas. Analysis of the data used in this study is paired t-test. The learning of the controversial Pancasila and Citizenship-based Education on the YouTube Team Quiz collaboration is expected to increase critical power. The results showed that the t count 3,923251234 was greater than t table 2,086 with a significance level of 0.05. The difference between pretest and posttest shows that students experience an increase in critical power. The average pretest score 36.42 increased to 68.75 at posttest. Based on the two data are then compared so that the difference value is 32.33. These results can be concluded that the hypothesis proposed by H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is an increase in critical power or an increase in the average value of the pretest and posttest. This shows that there is an increase in critical power in class VIII B SMP PGRI 6 Kedawung Sragen between before (pretest) and after (posttest) learning of Pancasila Education and Citizenship based on controversial Issues on YouTube media collaboration Team Quiz to enhance critical power.
