Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of working capital, firm size, leverage, firm growth, and profitability on firm value. Population in this research is all companies in the property, real estate, and building construction sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2018. The sample is 40 companies that have been selected by purposive sampling method. The data analysis method were tested by multiple linear regression analysis.The result of the research show that (1) Working capital, firm size, leverage, firm growth, and profitability simultaneously have a significant effect on firm value. (2) Working capital partially has no effect on firm value. (3) Firm size partially has a negative and significant effect on firm value. (4) Leverage partially has a significant and positive effect on firm value. (5) Firm growth partially has no effect on firm value. (6) Profitability partially has a significant and positive effect on firm value. The result of this research are expected to be useful for certain parties, such as academics, companies, investors and researchers who will conduct similar research in the future.
