Abstract

Crank shaft is a component made of cast iron that is used to change the up and down motion of the piston into a rotary motion. The working principle of the crankshaft is similar when we pedal a bicycle. Because it deals with the pressure from the piston, the crankshaft should not be flexed or broken when getting pressure from the piston. For this reason, this component is made from a special iron alloy that has high strength and anti-fade. the results of friction analysis between the crank shaft with the bearing is too high, there are bolts rubbing against the fly wheel. the back bearing gets a greater force. this causes the broken crank shaft, namely the installation of the propeller shaft not center.
