Abstract

This study aims to describe the internalization of Islamic religious values in the formation of students' attitudes and behavior through religious extracurricular activities to shape the Muslim personality of students at SD N Sibela Timur. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive research design. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Data is analyzed through data reduction steps in the presentation of data and drawing conclusions. Data validity checking techniques use triangulation techniques and source triangulation. The informants in this study were the principal, religious teacher and students. The results showed that the formation of students' attitudes and behaviors through religious extracurricular activities in SD N Sibela Timur can be done by building a strong personality foundation through the formation of peace-loving attitudes, social attitudes, tolerance and responsibility. In the implementation directed at habituation, invitations and exercises that must be followed and expected to affect their behavior. Thus if it has been embedded in him a positive attitude will also be manifested in the form of daily behavior. The inhibiting factors are the lack of students 'understanding of religious knowledge, inadequate infrastructure, the lack of parents' encouragement and the factors of their own students who are lazy and lack discipline. For supporting factors, among others, student interest, educators, then the teacher's approach to students, student interest, support from the school and parents are also the main supporting factors. Solutions to overcome the inhibiting factors include overall evaluation by the school, innovations in supporting religious extracurricular activities, good cooperation between the school and parents of students in supporting these activities.
