Abstract

Contextual learning is one of the strategies that can be used by Muhammadiyah Al-Kaustar Middle School Special Gumpang Kartasura Program. Concepts are built through the students' Daily infaq program. In applying this learning model there are seven main components applied. Not all of the seven components are applied, only a few are applied to contextual learning in SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Kaustar Kartasura namely: constructivism (Contructvism), searching (Questioning), finding (Inquiry), finding (inquiry), learning community (inquiry) Learning Community), choice (reflection), and actual assessment (Aunthentic Assessment).The formulation of the problem in this research is how to apply the contextual learning model and also what is in the contextual learning model in Muhammadiyah Al-Kaustar Middle School Special Program Gumpang Kartasura. This study aims to describe the application of contextual learning models and to identify the factors in the contextual application of Muhammadiyah Al-Kaustar Middle School Special Program Gumpang Kartasura. This research is a field research, which is a research conducted by directly bringing in a school which is used as an object of research. While collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. And the method of data analysis is done by descriptive, which explains the circumstances that are considered to exist. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the contextual learning model is carried out through the habituation program of students every day, namely by asking for each visit. By doing the six main components that are done in a way: constructivism, students will learn more by building the knowledge needed through limited consultation. Asking questions is realized as the end of learning. Finding, the results of the form of activities through observations made by students. Community learning, manifested in the attitude of students to do charity activities in the community. Reflection, manifested in a summary of experiences gained by students during the activities carried out. Actual assessment, the process of collecting data that can provide an overview of student learning development. The spending factor in contextual learning in Muhammadiyah Al-Kaustar Middle School Special Gumpang Kartasura Special Program is the difference in characteristics in student knowledge and very little learning and learning time.
