The subjects of the study were 10 elderly people who have a partner and no longer have a partner, determined by purposive sampling technique. The data collection method in this study was a semi-structured interview. The results of this study indicate that subjective well-being in the elderly is obtained by feeling satisfied with life that is lived both from family circumstances, activities undertaken, material, feeling happy, grateful, enjoy, proud, happy and comfortable both in the family environment and community environment. Happy seniors help the elderly to face reality, play an active role in life, and understand their life goals.
