Abstract

n making nata de coco in general for 1-2 weeks, nata maturation time is around 2 weeks of the fermentation process, this indicates that if exceeding two weeks will cause a decrease in the quality of nata de coco. The factor in the failure of making nata de coco is from the nata seedlings themselves and the unclean cleanliness of the nata de coco nurseries. When producing nata de coco, there are many obstacles that hinder making nata, i.e. cleaning glass bottles manually which results in less clean nata nursery bottles and less efficiency in their production besides complaints from several operators about the cleaning process which takes a lot of time and causes minor injuries. QFD is a suitable method for designing automatic bottle cleaning devices. The tool designed is expected to reduce bottle cleaning time to 5 seconds / bottle, minimize the process of cleaning and washing bottles to 45 seconds / bottle,using 1 brush that can clean the neck and bottom of the bottle together, and the design of the tool is made minimalist and ergonomic.
