Abstract

Clutch is a breaker and connector power from the engine to other power train components. There was a low power reverse transmission problem on the XCMG ZL 50 GN wheel loader unit. This analysis aims to find out how to operate the clutch disc, analyze the causes of low power reverse and its causes, make corrective steps, and recommend steps to prevent clutch damage. The inspection process is carried out by performing a performance test through a pressure plug test, visual analysis of a hydraulic tank, a hydraulic hose. Then the transmission disassembly process is carried out and analyzed the cause of the damage using a fishbone diagram. The disassembly process results in damage to the disc and clutch components that are subjected to wear. Repair steps must be made to replace the discs and plates components. Precautions are taken to prevent low power reverse back. Keywords: Clutch, disc and plate, low power
