Abstract

This study aims to analyze and find out how much influence the GRDP, Population, Human Development Index (HDI), Unemployment, and inflation on Poverty Rate in Central Java Province in 2016-2018. The analysis tool uses panel data regression covering 35 districts/cities in central java province. And Time Series of three years. The results of this study indicate that Fixed Effect Model (FEM) is the best panel data regression model. Based on the results of the analysis it was found that the Human Development Index (HDI) and Unemployment had no significant effect on the Poverty Rate. GRDP has a negative and significant effect on Poverty Rate. Meanwhile Population and Inflation have positive and significant effect on Poverty Rate.
