Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of export, import, exchange rate and inflation to foreign exchange reserves in Indonesia during the period of 1995-2017. The data used are time series data taken from the Central Bureau of Statistics and Bank Indonesia. The analysis used in this research is multiple regression using Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The results of this study indicate that exports, inflation and exchange rate have an influence and significant effect on foreign exchange reserves, the difference lies in exports and the exchange rate which has a positive effect, while inflation has a negative effect and for imports has no effect on foreign exchange reserves.
