Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of Production, Forest Area, Exchange Rate, Gross Domestic Product, and Timber legality Verification certificates on plywood exports in Indonesia. The data used in this study are time series data for the period 1990-2018. The analysis model uses analysis Error Correction Model (ECM). Research results using ECM analysis show that in the short term Gross Domestic Product variables and Timber Legality Verification Certificates have a significant negative effect on plywood exports in Indonesia, while Production, Forest Area, and Exchange Rate have no effect on plywood exports in Indonesia, in the long run the Gross Domestic Product, Exchange Rate, and Timber Legality Verification Certificates have a significant negative effect on plywood exports in Indonesia while the Production and Forest Area have no effect on plywood exports in Indonesia in 1990-2018.
