Abstract

In industrial era, motorcycles are a secondary need for humans. Motor which is a vehicle as a means of transportation also has progress in its production by a company. Companies that produce motorcycles on a limited basis make human desire to have a motorbike is very high. This triggers the Inden system in buying and selling motorcycles. Indent is buying an item by ordering and paying in advance with the existing provisions. Therefore, with the sale and purchase of motorcycles with the pivot system or ordering goods in advance, the buyer can have a motorbike produced limited by the company. The purpose of this study is to determine the validity of the motorcycle sale and purchase agreement with the indent system has been in accordance with the law of the agreement and the legal consequences of the existence of a motorcycle sale and purchase agreement with the indent system. This research is a descriptive study and a normative juridical research method. The results showed that the motorcycle sale and purchase agreement with the indent system was valid based on the legal agreement starting from the goods ordered and the price paid to the seller, and the legal consequences of the sale and purchase of the motorcycle with the indent system gave rise to the rights and obligations that had been carried out by each party.
