Abstract

The aim of this research is for knowing the role of urine test result as authentication for narcotics crime in the court with State Court Special 1A of Surakarta as Case Study. Urine Test has a significant role as it will be judge’s consideration in verdict to suspect or defendant. Urine test result will be presented in the court as Police Investigation Report (PIR) and it has position as letter of evidence. However, it could not be the one and only evidence as the regulation has regulated for minimum two evidences, in fact the verdict will be decided for suspect or defendant has different possibility as long as the evidences beside urine test result will be known if suspect or defendant has done narcotics crime. In addition, Urine test result will also supporting for medical rehabilitation and social rehabilitation for Narcotic Victims and Nacotic Addicts.
