Abstract
Disaster events can occur anytime and anywhere, especially in Indonesia, most of its territory is designated as a disaster-prone area or ring of fire. Disasters are a series of threatening events and can disrupt people's systems of life and livelihoods. Lombok Island became an area that had experienced a devastating disaster namely the Earthquake on July 29, 2018. This study aims to describe the coordination of crisis response by the people of the Sankukun Hamlet, Genggelang Village, Gangga District, North Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. The theory used in this study is Theories Of Communication and Crisis Coordination, choosing Tierney. This research uses a qualitative approach. Research data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the community in responding to the disaster crisis that occurred by way of coordination led by the Head of the Village. Then the community collaborates on three perspectives on crisis coordination, namely the Bureaucracy, Structural and Network Perspectives.
