Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of financing based on the type of contract to Non Performing Financing in Sharia Commercial Banks and Sharia Business Units in Indonesia for the period of 2016-2018. The data used are time series data published by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Bank Indonesia (BI), and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The analytical method used in this study is multiple regression analyst with the Error Correction Model (ECM). Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that in the short term the Equity Financing variable significantly influences the NPF but Debt Financing, Exchange Rate, BI Rate, IHSG and ISSI have no significant effect on the NPF. Whereas in the long run the BI Rate, IHSG and ISSI variables have a significant effect on NPF BUS and UUS in Indonesia.
