Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of accounting basics through the application of the Flipped Class Room method to class X Accounting studentsat SMK Muhammadiyah Delanggu in the 2019/2020 school year. The type of research used is the classroom action research (CAR) method which was carried out as many as II cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The subject of the study was the teacher (the action taker) and the students of class X Accounting at SMK Muhammadiyah Delanggu, totaling 33 students (recipients of the action). The object of this research is to increase student learning outcomes through the implementation of Flipped Class Room. Data collection techniques used include observation, tests, field notes and documentation. The results of the study using the Flipped Class Room method showed that the learning outcomes of the accounting basics of class X Accounting students had increased, it can be seen from the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). Before taking action, economic learning outcomes of 25% or 9 students who completed, in the first cycle the results of the basics of accounting increased to 72.12% or 10 students who were declared complete, and in cycle II the results of learning the basics of accounting students became 80.00% or 20 students declared complete. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of the Flipped Class Room method can improve student learning outcomes in the basics of accounting class X Accounting subjects at SMK Muhammadiyah Delanggu in the 2019/2020 school year.
