Abstract
This study aims to test and analyze (1) the effect of Jigsaw learning models with AFL assessment, Jigsaw learning models, and Expository learning models on mathematics learning outcomes, (2) the effect of students' mathematical communication skills (high, medium, low) on learning outcomes mathematics, and (3) the effect of interaction between the Jigsaw learning model with AFL assessment, the Jigsaw learning model, and the Expository learning model with students' mathematical communication skills on mathematics learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. The population of this research is VII grade students of Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta Middle School in 2018/2019. Three classes were selected for the sample using cluster random sampling. The first experimental class was treated with a Jigsaw learning model with AFL assessment, the second experimental class was treated with a Jigsaw learning model and the control class was treated with an Expository learning model. Data collection methods use documentation, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis techniques used two ways analysis of variance with unequal cells. Test the prerequisites for normality and homogeneity. Advanced tests use the Scheffe method '. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) there is an influence of Jigsaw learning models with AFL assessment, Jigsaw learning models, and Expository learning models on mathematics learning outcomes, (2) there is no effect of mathematical communication skills of students (high, medium, low ) on mathematics learning outcomes, (3) there is no interaction effect between learning models (Jigsaw with AFL, Jigsaw, and Expository assessments) with students' mathematical communication skills (high, medium, low) on mathematics learning outcomes.
