Abstract
This study aims to calculate and analyze the amount of labor absorption in Sukoharjo Regency and Karanganyar Regency based on Regional Minimum Wage, Gross Regional Domestic Product, and Education factors, and to find out the difference in employment in Sukoharjo and Karanganyar regencies in terms of regional minimum wages, Gross Regional Domestic Product and Education. This research is a quantitative study using panel data in the form of time series (2014-2017) and cross section (Sukoharjo and Karanganyar Regencies). The type of data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency Sukoharjo and Karanganyar. Data analysis was performed with a regression test followed by a t test. The results showed that regional minimum wages, gross regional domestic product, and education partially did not have a significant effect on employment. Simultaneously, it is proven that there is an influence of Regional Minimum Wage, Gross Regional Domestic Product, and Education on employment in Sukoharjo and Karanganyar Regencies.
