Abstract
ABSTRACT Poverty is one of the fundamental problems of an area in which there are various factors that can be the cause. Of the several factors, the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) variable was chosen, which is one of the important factors to determine the economic conditions in a region in a certain period, the level of education, unemployment and Population diagnosed as having an influence on poverty. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), Education, Unemployment and Population on poverty levels in Central Java Province. The data used was obtained from the official website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The analytical method used is time series data regression analysis. The results showed that the variable GRDP, education and unemployment had a significant effect on poverty levels, while the variable population did not have a significant effect on poverty levels in Central Java Province.
