Abstract

The purposes of this research are to know about 1) the contribution of intellectual skill concerning act of determining career as teacher. 2) The contribution of soft skill concerning act of determining career as teacher. 3) The contribution of intellectual skill and soft skill concerning act of determining career as teacher. This research is quantitative asosiative research. The population of this research is the college student of Accountancy Education Department batch 2015 which are 248 people. The sample of this research is as many as 146 of collages student which is taken by sample random sampling technique. The method of collecting data is using questionnaire and documentation. The test of prerequisite data analysis is pervading normality test and normality test. Data analysis which used is fold regression, F test, t test, Relative Contribution and Effective Contribution. Outcome of regression analysis got the similarity of regression Y = 4,355 + 0,429X1 + 0,207X2. The conclusions are 1) there is the contribution of intellectual skill concerning act of determining career as teacher. This is based on t test known that sig 0,000 < 0,05 on the significance degree 5% with effective contribution 11,53% and relative contribution 60,05%. 2) Test based on t test known that sig 0,000 < 0,05 on the significance degree 5% with the effective contribution 7,6% and relative contribution 39,95%. 3) There is the contribution of intellectual skill and soft skill concerning act of determining career as teacher. This is based on f test that known as sig 0,000 < 0,05 on significance degree 5%. 4) The determination of coefficient (R2) in the amount of 0,192 showed that the huge of intellectual skill and soft skill contribution concerning act of determining carrier as teacher as big as 19,2% while the residue is affected by other variable.
