Abstract

The purpose of this study are the economic impact of 100 Water Park Fishing tourism in the Janti Village community of Klaten Regency. This type of research is a qualitative research with ethnographic design. The research was conducted at the 100 Water Park Fishing. The resource persons in this study were two communities around the tourist sites, two traders in the tourist attractions and one employee of the 100 Water Park Fishing. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview and observation. The validity of the data is done by comparing the information obtained with other information obtained from other informants. Data analysis techniques using d ata reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this study stated that the 100 Water Park Fishing had an economic impact on the surrounding community. Increased community incomes make them able to meet their daily needs, and provide employment opportunities for people who do not have work.
