Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the analysis of students' difficulties based on Bloom's taxonomy. In this analysis, there are 4 steps or levels. The 4 steps are then applied to the quadrilateral results for Level VII A students in the SMP Negeri 2 Kemalang program. Based on the results of the tests given, the researchers then selected 5 subjects to be interviewed. The interview also refers to 4 stages of Bloom's taxonomy. The data collection techniques used were quadrilateral material tests, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used was data reduction, data presentation and conclusions, which then validated the data using triagulation. The results showed that students faced various difficulties in solving these problems. Among the percentages obtained, the most difficult stage or level of difficulty is that of synthesis and application. If the student does not encounter difficulties, he is able to work on the stages of understanding, applying, analyzing and synthesizing correctly. Students also have difficulty calculating and are not attentive enough to properly solve problems. For students' answers to become imperfect.
